Stepping into the local drugstore I was really looking forward testing a new drugstore mascara. The packaging of Bourjois One Second Volume mascara really stood out for me so i decided to bring home with me not one but two of them. The original version is packaged in silver and orange while the waterproof version has a turquoise accents. Another unique feature that this mascara comes with is the barrel like rubbery wand. To me i found it quite large and bendy. It did not separate the lashes very well but certainly added volume (reed drama).
Over a few days of trail the original version of Bourjois One Second Volume mascara proved to be nothing that special. Only after a few hours of wear there were a few fallouts here so i was really not impressed. At that point my hopes were rested on the waterproof version. The waterproof Bourjois One Second Volume mascara holds my lashes curled for a food while and did not smudge or budge at all. It was a bit hard to take off but same goes for any waterproof mascara really. After i played for a bit with this new mascara brush, i grew to like it more and more. Now i can definitely recommend it.
