I’ve been dealing with my dry and lizard-like dry skin for as long as I can remember. When on holiday matters can get worst adding skin rash and irritation to the mix. As a rule of thumb, i always pack a good after sun cooling body lotion and some other skin lotions and potions targeting more severe skin conditions. When it comes to suiting ingredients, using aloe vera for dry skin always seems to help to keep skin moisturized without any irritation. I came across Dr. Organic Aloe Vera product range and decided to try few of their products and see which one work best.
Dr. Organic Aloe Vera Gel is probably my favorite from the bunch because its amazing consistency. Once on the skin, this gel absorbs in seconds leaving zero tacky feeling after use. If you are not a big fan of moisturizers or just you are in a rush after a shower this is probably the one product for you. After application, my skin instantly felt soft, hydrated and touch dry, which meant that for once I got dressed right after without worrying that my clothes will stick to my body because I just moisturized. While this gel moisturizer is suitable for on the go or even summer holidays, Dr. Organic Aloe Vera Skin Lotion is more of a heavy duty body moisturizer I would probably get the most use of during the cooler months of the year. The consistency is very creamy but lightweight, which made it easy to apply. The cream absorbed fairly quickly but definitely, it needed a bit more effort during application. This is the type of product best suitable for people who like to occasionally moisturize since it gives that extra bit of skin hydration that will last you for a good while.
For the face, I tried two products from the same range. Dr. Organic Aloe Vera Wet Wipes draw my attention because of their convenience and flat packaging. These face wipes are great for just wiping your face or hands during the day but they also do a decent job removing makeup. The wipes itself are not too moist, feel kind of soft on the skin and leave no greasy residue after use. Another product from their face line is the Aloe Vera Eye Gel which comes in a convenient little tube. This gel absorbs pretty quickly but be careful not to apply it too close to your eyes because it might sting.
All products I tried from the Dr. Organic Aloe Vera range* felt very calming and suiting on the skin. After use, there was a slight lingering aloe vera scent, which might be something to consider. I highly recommend Dr. Organic Aloe Vera Gel which is excellent and budget friendly body moisturizer.
