When they first came on the market, Artis brushes seemed a bit controversial, alien looking and still require a large investment. Reviews start pouring in and positive impressions quickly flooded the beauty community. Still quite hesitant to take the plunge I started looking for more budget friendly alternatives. To find a good Artis brush dupe took me quite a while but I’m proud to announce that finally I found a food one.
Flawless Wonder Brush comes from Ireland and it’s a very good dupe for Artis Oval 4. They both have the same shape and size, although the handle of Wonder Brush appear a bit shorter. In terms of quality both brushes are made of plastic, but more importantly quality and destiny of bristles are very much the same. Originally Oval 4 is meant for applying eye shadow and concealer but considering the large size of the brush (almost as big as my entire eyelid) I decided to use it for applying foundation and other cream face products. Something that is truly exceptional about this brush, despite the wired design is that unlike other makeup brushes this one absorbs very little product. Normally I used about 2-3 pumps of foundation which is probably half of what I need, simply because I feel that half of it is soaked up by my makeup brush. Because of the tight density of the bristles this makeup brush just buffs the foundation evenly and really delivers flawless-skin-type-of-finish. In terms of size I’m quite happy with it but can’t stop wondering what a larger or smaller brush of this sorts can deliver.
Flawless Wonder Brush comes from Ireland and cost €12.99, you can find it mainly in local pharmacies.
