Audacious lashes in two coats

Audacious lashes in two coats

Looking back my relationship with mascaras has never been particularly positive. My eyes seems to protest against drugstore mascaras and give me red eye every time I attempt to cheat. Obliged by the consequences and the constant fear of irritated eyes I’m often forced to “invest” in designer mascaras. With my resent beauty purchase I received a deluxe sample of the new Nars Audacious Mascara. Intrigued by the name and the rubber bristles I could not wait to try my new makeup essential.

The matte rubber packaging and small size are above all a great travel companion. The mascara wand is made of rubber crisscrossing spikes that work wonders separating my eyelashes. The rubber bristles come in two different lengths, making sure to grab and coat each individual eyelash. The brush really helps getting into the roots of my eyelashes and coat them from root to tip.

Nars Audacious Mascara review look

This Audacious mascara gives that much desired extra bit of length that makes my eyes look bigger. This mascara lasted well throughout the day without any sign of followouts or flakes. On the eyes once its dry, the consistency feels more rubbery and flexible rather than stiff which overall is massive positive. The formula is not weatherproof so it was easy to remove with any micellar water or cleanser.

My new rubbery friend passed the mark with flying colors and received a big stamp of approval. Nars Audacious Mascara is available from 8th September and costs £21.
