Blurring foundation that melts into the skin

Blurring foundation that melts into the skin

Finding the most gorgeous foundation that comes in a practical packaging was not to be expected to come from Givenchy makeup. I was absolutely blown away by the lightweight texture, good coverage and sparingly blurring technology that works as well as the best makeup primer. Taken aback by the brilliance of this product I highly recommend looking into it.

The new Givenchy Teint Couture Balm foundation applied as absolute dream. Don’t be fooled by the word “balm” since this is definitely not a BB or CC cream. This product comes with a good light to medium coverage that to me classified as proper foundation. The consistency is more on the tick side of things but very easy to apply (even with fingers) and blend seamlessly. Personally I’m not a big fan of primers, since I consider them to be one extra step in my routine. Despite my laziness I do believe in the unreliable benefits and prolonged wear of makeup when using a primer. This Blurring Foundation Balm combines best of both words since not only covers but literally blurs over fine line and small imperfections. It gives the skin a nice soft focus, which basically means very very forgiving overall look. Many blurring skin perfectos and primers comes with a distinct silicone feel, but not this product. First time I used this foundation, at the end of the day I looked myself in the mirror and thought that I had great skin day. The formula had so seamlessly blended with my skin even after eight hours of wear. Around my oily t-zone I could see some signs of wear, but nothing like a trusty translucent powder cannot set and seal during the day.

Givenchy Teint Couture Balm review swatches look

The color selection of Givenchy Teint Couture Balm is quite limited (between 6 to 8 shades depending on the retailer) and covers from very fair to deep skin tones. My shade number is 3 Sand, which is quite unheard of for me. If you have normal to dry skin type you will definitely like this product and it’s the one for you. The finish is very naturally good looking skin with hint of settle radiance.

This new favorite of mine  does not only perform a great deal but also belongs to one of my cult makeup brands.Needless to say I’m absolutely head over heels for this new blurring foundation. Givenchy Teint Couture Balm retails for about £29.
