Hair masks and conditioners are products I cannot live without and that is why I go thought them quite quickly. This Intense Nourishing Mask by French Pharmacy brand Rene Furterer Paris is a recent repurchase that earned its way of being featured on the blog.
A little background about my hair is that it is fine, long, color treated and dry. Using heavy duty nourishing conditioner or repairing hair mask is absolutely obligatory to keep my hair from looking like a fizzy mop. The consistency of this hair mask of a tick yellow cream that smells like shea butter. Once I shampoo my hair next product to follow is this deep conditioning mask.
For better results and in order to reduce product waste I squeeze out any excess water from my hair and apply this tick cream consistency from mid length to ends of my hair. The instruction guide you to leave it for 2-5 minutes but I normally leave it for a bit longer. While waiting I normally do face, body and foot scrub then I rinse my hair right after. Results are immediate and visible. From dry and lack luster to soft and glossy locks that are much easier to manage. It also have positive effect on smoothening fuzz hair. I normally use this nourishing hair mask about every two or three weeks, or just when I feel that my hair needs a bit of a pick me up. Despite my hair being fine and this the consistency of this mask on the heavy side I did not experience my hair being weighted down or sticky (sometimes heavy duty products leave some residue).
Rene Furterer Karité Intense Nourishing Mask comes in 200ml jar and cost about £24 and can last you a considerable amount of time. I know that this mask is a bit on the pricy side but it is totally worth the investment of you have dry color treated hair. Now that I discover Rene Furterer I’m curious to try few more product from their hair care range. Have you tried any of their products, let me know about your hair product like and dislikes in the comments below.
