Bye Bye Glitters

Bye Bye Glitters

I love glittery nail polishes with passion but hate as passionately taking it off. The moment I discover Essie Leave No Trace I felt that somebody out there had finally decided to put me out my misery and bless me with a viable solution that actually works. As you might have guessed it this is not your regular nail polish remover that is “extra strong” but a completely new glitter nail polish remover formula that does the trick.

To be honest I was kind of expecting to be some sort of liquid but actually the consistency of this product can be best described as scrub-in-gel. At first I was a bit hesitant and mostly unsure how well this new formula can remove the three layers of glitters that I’ve been enjoying over the past few weeks. Confession: the sole reason I love glitter nails polish is because it lasts twice as long as regular nail polishes. End of confession! I dampen generously a cotton pad with this new scrub-in-gel formula and proceed with my attempt of removing all that glitters. In a single swipe the majority of gone, without any rubbing, scrubbing or picking. I will admit that although this miraculously results are amazing things can get a bit messy. It reminded me of removing darker nail polish with strong pigment that stains (a little) your cuticles and fingers at the same time. In this case there were still bits of glitters all over my fingers but at least removing my sparkling nail polish took me 2min instead of 22min. The small beads really help to effortlessly lift up the glitters and quickly bring back your bare nails.
