Charlotte Tilbury makeup haul

Few weeks ago I traveled down to London and on my list of must visit attractions was the Charlotte Tilbury make up counter at Selfridges. Blinded by the online rave and beautiful rose gold packaging I was determinate to try everything. There were four things on my mind that even before trying I knew it would be mine. After months’ time here are my honest opinions.
Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation in the shade 4 Fair was my first product of choice. Lets start with that great comfortable to travel and use packaging. This lightweight tube is very compact yet it stores 40ml of product. I learned the hard way that you must give it a good shake before use, so don’t forget to shake it off! On the skin this foundation have more of light to medium coverage and dewy finish. Problem areas such as redness appear less visible. This lightweight foundation also does not cling on to dry patches. Skin tone appear even and complexion looks naturally radiant. In comparison to YSL Le Touche Eclat foundation that has similar finish, Charlotte Tilbury’s version appear more matte. It basically delivers the perfect mix of natural good looking skin with a bit of a glow. The color range is quite extensive and difference between shades is quite settle (I went for a slightly darker color to use during the upcoming summer months, but still very wearable now, with a light fake tan).It lasts all day and since it looks like skin is wears almost invisibly. Love it!
Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow palette looks like the ultimate make up luxury. Inside there is a big mirror that tilts back. It consist of two iridescent shades: a light brown shade also called sculpt and a champagne highlight. The sculpt shade is too light for me to actually do any contouring. It is more like a good quality light bronzer that gives a hint of tint and skin luminosity. The champagne color delivers very settle but still in your face highlight. It does not snicks into pores not look overdone. Both powders are very buttery and mildly graded. The glide on the skin beautifully in the spirit of Charlotte Tilbury deliver naturally radiant settle skin complexion.

Charlotte Tilbury Powder & Sculpt brush is probably one of the best makeup brushes I own to date. It feel very comfortable in my hands and best bit is that it does not roll over when left on flat surface. The actual hairs feel very soft and not scratchy on the skin. The way it is cut and sort of tapered to a triangle shape is absolutely brilliant. The size of the angle is perfect highlighting cheekbones. The pointy tip really helps to find and define your cheekbones aria. It truly is a well-designed makeup brush that really helps and makes easy application of product.

Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk is this amazing rose pink shade that transforms your lips in seconds. It makes them appear fuller, plumper and just better. Pair it with a bit of a lip gloss or your favorite nude shade for more dimension. It lasts good amount of time on the lips. This shade is vey universal and goes with any type of look from natural to more dramatic smoky eye.

Of course I could not help myself and kindly request a few samples. This lipstick samples are quite unique and really does work. So don’t forget to pick up some when you are at the Charlotte Tilbury counter.
