Over the course of nearly two months I really made a dent in some new products, which meant that I completely forgot to use up what I already have open. As a result I skipped last month empties edition but not for the lack of trying. In this edition there are more disappointing products than normal including full Oribe product reviews so keep in reading to find out what not to buy and save some cash.
Face, body and nails
24K Gold Mask Pure Luxury Lift & Firm Mask by Peter Thomas Roth is a nice hydrating and firming mask I enjoyed using. Trouble is that with so many face masks on rotation and considering the generous 150ml tub I just finished I think it’s best to take a break from my gold face addiction.
Elemis Sensitive Cleansing Wash hasn’t made an appearance on the blog so I guess this is its first debut. I was drown by the word sensitive since at the time my skin was acting out and I was really looking for a cleanser that is very gentle but can still properly cleanse my skin. Apart from the terrible scent (it reminds me of industrial carpet cleaning product) this product is indeed very gentle and non-drying. My skin felt clean and moisturized after use. If you are looking for a gently face wash and can get past the scent this is a great product to look into.
Garnier Micellar Extra-Gentle Cleansing Wipes are not the best but do a decent job at removing makeup. I’m really struggling to find good makeup wipes at the drugstore if you have any suggestions please leave it in the comments section below.
Algenist Complete Eye Renewal Balm is probably of the most effective eye creams I’ve used so far. I really saw results after religiously applying it day and night for about two weeks. My under eye aria appear brighter and hydrated. Normally the aria around my eyes is very sensitive and sore at times but this eye cream managed to balance and gradually improve the appearance of any darkness. Will definitely repurchase.
Fisherman Salt-N-Sea Body Scrub good natural sea salt body scrub that comes with heavy zesty scent which is actually the reason why I’m not going to purchase the full size.
Margaret Dabs London Exfoliating Foot Mouse is really great product that is great for regular at-home-pedicure. After a few uses I could really see that the skin on my feet is significantly softer and smoother.Despite the great results this product is kind of pricy so I did try to search for drugstore alternatives. With no success I can announce that this is one of kind product that really delivers and is worth every penny. Definite repurchase.
Kruidvart Quick Dry Dops are simple drugstore version I personally enjoyed using. What I like is this type of product and I do believe that quick dry nail drops really help nail polish dry quicker. I will repurchase but probably from another brand.
Oribe Gold Lust Repair & Restore shampoo and Dry texturizing spray are both beloved cult beauty favorites that I did not get on well with. Since my initial reaction (reed full review by following the link above) my impressions remain the same which means no repurchase.
This is probably my third bottle of CoLab Sher Invisible dry shampoo, which only proves how great is this product and that I will continue to repurchase.
