When we are between seasons I really struggle choosing nail polish colors. Essie nail polish range is great inspiration. Not just for trying something new bit also it is mood uplifting. On my last visit I picked up a few colors that are perfect for “in transition” type of periods. Those are normally sometime between gloomy January to semi-warm March; between end-of-summer September to rainy November, between jobs, between boyfriends, between pets…you get the point.
All selected colors look muddy. Trust me all look better on the nails than in the bottle. In real life this range of colors is just a chic way of doing pastel neutrals. Let’s start with the most popular choice Essie nail polish in Mamba. This skin like nude color has a hint of apricot transforming your nails into elegant extension of your hands. In fact this is probably the only nude nail polish color I reach for when having problem nails. Mamba conceal seamlessly any imperfections concerning nail length, shape or color. This is also a perfect shade for big occasions like job interviews or weddings (in case you are the bride). Essie Warm and Tasty Turtleneck is unusual choice.I would dare to define it as a sophisticated take on lilac nails. . Also it looks great with monochrome clothes and anything blue like a pair of jeans. Essie Chinchilly is a classic when you want to bridge to darker nail colors. I consider this shade as nude simply because is absolutely universal and does not clash with any other color you ware to wear (ever). At last Essie nail polish in Cocktail Bling is a great spring blue shade that is perfect reminder for the upcoming of the summer fun we are hoping to have. I feel like ashy pale blue will never go out of fashion much like this nail color. Dreamy, interesting and gorgeous looking.
All Essie nail polishes mentioned above are opaque and prove great coverage in one coat. Most of the brushes are flat making application easier. Essie nail polishes are of great quality and last considerably long time including all mentioned colors.
