I am by no means a liquid liner expert. After many particle runs and a few not so great gel eyeliner products i discovered Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner. What was new to me was the fell tip, that looked quite long and flexible.I liked the look of this Eyeko eyeliners so much that went on and bought it in black but also the navy blue color. It was surprising to find out that the navy blue color is very dark, making it far more interesting when on your eyelids.
Lets start with the color – it is matte. The felt tip looks stiff but it is actually soft and (not too) bendy. I found that with this type of eyeliners it is much easier to cover the length of your eyelid in one stroke. If you are a beginner but still want to achieve that cat eye winged look this is not the right product for you. Precision with this product does not come easy, especially whey you try to create that flick on the outer corner. The end of the felt tip is just not “wet” enough. In my attempt to apply it i end up dragging and poking the eyelid number of times. The results did not impress me enough to bare once gain with the pain of applying this product. I also tested the longevity of this product and is just about decent. It does not smudge easily on application but it tends to wear off after hour or two. One thing i liked about the packaging is that the lid clicks. With other high end products that really helped prevent drying of the fell tip. This Eyeko eyeliner lasted me for about a month. The navy blue color is surprisingly dark.
