Searing at my collection of empty bottles collected over the past month few things became very apparent. Every singe product I was using target skin or hair rehydration recovery. This time around I managed to explore new brands like & Other Stories skincare and really get full grips on what must be repurchased or completely axed from my routine.
L’occitane Jenipapo Shower oil is a limited edition product that I purchased a while ago. The scent is what make it more special but I actually bought it because of the consistency. This was my first time using shower oil and my verdict is that I really like it. It glides on smoothly on the skin and creates more like lather rather than bubbly foam. My skin was left feeling clean and hydrated which was great since sometimes I don’t have enough time to moisturize. Definite repurchase.
& Other Stories Botanic Wisper Body Scrub in Orange blossom and coriander is probably one of the best smelling body products I owned. The scent is nothing like the description. It is really fresh, floral and reminds me of spring. If you are near & Other Stories store I highly recommend checking their variety of scents, they are amazing. The consistency of this scrub was really tick also scrub particles tend to easily melt on the skin. I love this scrub because it did not leave any greasy residue and it was very mild and nonabrasive on the skin. Another product to repurchase.
Rene Furterer Karite Intense Nourishing Mask is a heavy duty hair mask that gives more life to dry bristle and color treated hair. I found that leaving it for longer periods of time (20-40minutes) gave better results. After using this hair mask my hair felt smoother and softer. I like this hair mask but at this point in time I will hold before repurchasing this product. There are other brands of masks and conditioners I want to explore before fully committing to this product.
Oribe Gold Lust Repair & Restore Conditioner did nothing special to justify the hefty price tag. After the first few washes I did see some improvement but over time the condition of my hair remained the same. My expectations were very high considering the amount of hype that surrounds this product. After finishing the while bottle it really did not feel like something that special to splurge on yet again. No repurchase.
Chanel Lotion Confort Silky Soothing Tonner is great luxery prodcuct to have but not a must have. It leaves the skin feeling soft and clean, ready for the next step in your skincare routine. This big bottle lasted me for a couple of months but looking back it is definitely something extra than necessity. No repurchase.
Tata Harper Hydrating Floral Essence has strong and potent scent that is something to consider. On the skin it really feels that it has slightly tightening effect. The quality of this product is really there but for some reason I did not love enough this product to make a full size purchase.
Omorovicza Illuminating Moisturizer is a nice moisturizer that has very botanical scent to it. The consistently is very lightweight and suiting which make it serious contender for being my next day moisturizer of choice.
Kat Burki Vitamin C Intensive Face Cream came is a 7ml sample which is normally enough for me figure if a product is worth splurging on. In this case I’m still a bit undecided and perhaps I need to try few more products from that new to me range to really decide if I like it or not.
Kiehls Midnight Recovery Concentrate is a cult product that really does work. This was my first encounter with this overnight serum and I really like it. Soon to be featured on the blog.
Givenchy Nior Couture Mascara comes with this unusual wand that I really like. It gives lashes more body and definition which is something I look for in mascaras. I already bought another one.
Estee Lauder Stress Relief Eye Mask are my secret weapon against puffy eyes and dark circles. These eye patches really manage to help brighten the under eye aria. I used them in the morning before makeup or while travelling on the plane. They are a bit pricy but definitely deliver. Repurchase.
