There is an undeniable increase in popularity of products containing different types of acids that can gently exfoliate the skin without any abrasive scrubbing, peeling or extracting. There is no doubt that skin exfoliation and cleansing are at the core of any skin care routine, but with some many options on the market, it is becoming quite hard to distinguish which type is best for normal, dry, oily or even sensitive skin. As a picky customer with normal to dry skin prone to skin sensitivity I always struggle to find products specifically designed for my skin concerns. Recently I tried Merumaya Gentle Exfoliating Toner which is targeting fuss free women with sensitive skin.
Essentially this is a face toner with exfoliating properties that delivers results just after a quick swipe across the face. I love the convincence of such products that simply don’t require any “wait time” before moving on to the next step of my skin care routine. This particular toner contains Hyaluronic Acid to plump the skin and Natural Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) to gently peel any deal skin cell off the surface of the skin. After use, my sensitive skin did not have any reaction such as redness or irritation, despite the fact it contained active ingredient such as AHAs. With other exfoliators, I often experienced slight tingling and the skin instantly feeling tighter. With this product there was nothing like it, my skin felt formal and hydrated. Compared to similar products I tried in the past this Gentle Exfoliating Toner really lives up to its name. Because it is so gentle I feel very comfortable using it on daily bases even in combination with my normal to dry prone to redness skin. I think this is a great affordable product suitable for all skin types.
Merumaya Gentle Exfoliating Toner retails for £17.50 and its great 2 in 1 product to incorporate into your skin care routine. If you are looking for some more review from this brand check my latest blog post on Merumaya Iconic Youth Serum.
