How to fight scars, stretch marks and cellulite

There are many skin and imperfections that we all have to deal with at some point in our life and scars, stretch marks and cellulite seems to always be big concern. There are so many products that promise smoother looking skin bur realistically this type of product do not exist (and it’s been proven). Since bare skin season is fast approaching I lined up few of my tried and tested bottles of potions that help the appearance of my orange peel skin look a bit more smoother. All is very affordable does deserve a fair shoot.

In case you have to deal with new scars and newly formed stretchmarks BioOil (£8.99)is probably a great product to start. Keep in mind that the words “new” and “newly formed” are not used loosely. For this product to work you really need to apply it religiously 3-5 times a day to help the skin healing process. BioOil does work but it takes time and persistence, keep that in mind.

Stretchmark of any age are tough to deal with so any product that will help them fade before the end of the bottle is a clear winner. Clarins Body Treatment Oil Firming/Toning (£40) is one step ahead since it works great as a preventative measure during pregnancy or weight loss but also effects and help fade old stretch marks. It really smoothens the skin and keep it hydrated for days ahead. Mama Mio The Tummy Rub Oil (£27) is a cheaper alternative that works equally well. During pregnancy the skin really screeches out and stretchmarks are inevitable. If you are not afraid of the how products are labeled this is actually a great alternative even if you are not pregnant.

I believe that cellulite or orange peel skin can only go away with proper massage. L’occitane Almond Tonic Body Oil (£34) and massage brush (any brand will do) leaves the skin very soft and hydrated but also is a great oil for body massage. After religiously massaging my thighs and bottom 3 times a week I could really see steady improvement. Another great hack is coffee scrub, although messy it really helps with smoothing the skin and improving its texture. Grounded Coffee Scrub with Grapefruit (£15) is one of my latest discovery that I really enjoy using.
