Concealer is a girl’s best friend and probably the ultimate makeup bag essentials. Choosing the right formula, shade and mastering flawless application are only some of the concealer hacks I picked up along the way. Most of the times is not about how popular or pricey is your concealer but how does it react with your skin type. This time around I decided to go off to the deep end of my budget and experiment with currently the best concealer on the market. Was it really worth it, keep on reading.
Crème de La Mer Radiant Concealer SPF 25 in 01 Light come in a super luxurious packaging including leather pouch and a small concealer brush. First impressions of the product are very luxe which one would want to be for investing a small fortune in this product. This is a cream type of concealer which is supposed to give full coverage and last you far longer than your regular concealing liquid. The consistency is very smooth and buttery, that once applied it glades and melts into the skin seamlessly. In the past I tried few other cream concealers but they often end up looking cakey and managed to really set into any fine lines by the end of the day. This little guy tends to be super brightening which also adds more attention to fine lines.A little trick is to layer any other light coverage concealer over it to achieve more blended, still brightening but uniform look. The pigmentation of this product is very strong so you really need small amount to generously conceal any redness or blue under eye tones. There were only three shades to pick from which I find great and far less confusing. 01 Light is very brightening and instantly delivers a beaming light nude tone under the eyes, making you look awake and rested. The consistency is easy non greasy and easy to blend. It tends to mesh and melt into the skin in a very natural type of way. In terms of longevity I find that the product remained put throughout the day and weathered well my busy days of travel and air-conditioned environments. I also tried to conceal some of my red spots around my nose and chin which also worked out well once blended.
Crème de La Mer Radiant Concealer SPF 25 retails for a whopping £48 which but it is more of a yearly investment and saying goodbye to tired looking eyes. Without a doubt this little pot will last till the end of time since it takes very little to conceal your problems. Also it is very likely you get a generous dose of samples from the brand.
