There are so many nude/brown matte eye shadows out there but rarely a brand can get it really right. To me the perfect every day nude matte eyeshadow palette consist of five to seven shades, some matte some with satin finish. I figured that on my brown eyes shades of cacao and rusty browns, taupe and dusky lilacs look best. As you can image when I first saw this particular eye shadow palette my heart skipped a bit and it felt like all my wishes have come true.
Becca Ombre Rouge Eye Palette has very deceiving looks. Also this palette is often described as matte but the truth is that these eye shadows have ever so slightly satin finish. Also colors appear very simple and flat in the pan but on the skin each color has lots of dimension that makes it more unique. Starting from left to write, first goes a beauty light beige bone color, followed by a mauve light pink, gray taupe, medium chocolate brown and at last dark chocolate brown with red undertones.
The pigmentation is absolutely inside and formula last all day. The consistency is very soft, buttery, easy to blend and most importantly without any fallout. There are several make up looks you can go for starting with simple wash of color paired with any dark eyeliner or black liquid liner. If you feel more adventurous and prefer more blended looks using pretty much all shades at once gives amazing brown smoky eye. This palette is perfect for travelling and any neutral eye shadow lover will absolutely adore it.
Becca Ombre Rouge Eye Palette retails at about £36 and tends to sell out quite quickly so when you see it available do not hesitate for long.
