Drugstore lipstick are really bring it this season when it comes to lasting power, pigment and range of colors. Revlon Ultra HD Lipstick is the new kid on the block that is quickly becoming incredibly popular alternative. The shade range covers all bases – from nudes to pinks, reds and orange. Colors look vibrant and wearable, combination that is perfect for the spring/summer season.
The formula glides on easily and feels very moisturizing on the lips. The finish is glossy and although pigmented translates a bit shear on the lips. Almost like a very pigmented sheer lip tint if that makes sense. The color range presents few bold reds and orange shades that pack a punch but do not manage to deliver when it comes to longevity. If you are looking for a bold long-lasting lipstick these are not for you. Something I personally like about the clear lid packaging is that you can see the lip color inside. Fun fact is that the tip of these lipsticks is hand cut. Also despite color they are a distinct perfume smell that personally I find pleasant.
Revlon Ultra HD Lipstick in Rose (830) is probably my favorite shade from the bunch. On the lips it translates to ash rose nude pink with glossy finish. This range of nude is very suiting variety of complexions but I find it especially gorgeous looking on pale skins. Revlon Ultra HD Lipstick in Hibiscus (860) delivers a hint of coral lip color. This is great spring everyday lip color that is very low maintenance. Revlon Ultra HD Lipstick in Poppy (895) packs a punch of vibrant cherry chopstick red color. This red shade has also orange undertones that makes the color appear light and day time appropriate. The color is muted but still bright enough to get you noticed.
