When it comes to taking a bath or a shower there are two products I can’t stop using – bath bubbles and body scrubs. If you ever seen any of my monthly beauty trash series you will probably know that body scrubs are permanent part of my in-shower routine. I go through so many body scrubs quite quickly that at this point can really tell if a product lives up to the expectations. Same goes to good bubble bath foams, since I refuse to use/like any Lush bath products (shock horror!).
Part of the Rituals’s Ayurveda collection, originally from India, ancient philosophy based on restoring inner harmony (we all need a bit of that right around every Wednesday) I picked up two products. Rituals Himalaya scrub with Sweet Almond Oil & Indian Rose is a generous tub of body scrub that smells sweet and exotic the same time. The consistency is quite gritty and gently exfoliating the skin. It easily gets rid of any dry or flaky skin leaving the skin feeling sooth and soft. After use the scent lingers for a bit which I though was added bonus and there is no greasy film left on the skin. The small but gritty salt particles also help to completely scrub off any remaining fake tan. Since its salt based I strongly recommend to not use it after you wax/shave or around any cuts because it will sting.
Rituals Bath Foam Energy Bubbles in Indian Rose and Himalaya honey comes with the slightly different scent to it, which is more settle and relaxing. This huge bottle will last for quite a while since you really need quite small amount. The bubbles are very fluffy and the last for quite a bit of time enriching that peaceful-luxury-at-the-comfort-of-your-house feeling.
Rituals Himalaya scrub with Sweet Almond Oil & Indian Rose 450ml* retails for about £19.50 which is on a pricier side of things but totally worth it for the quality. Rituals Bath Foam Energy Bubbles in Indian Rose and Himalaya Honey 500ml * cost £13.50 which to me is a total bargain since this massive bottle can easy least you over 20 if not more baths.
