Holidays and birthdays are fast approaching and with some big spends coming up there is no better time than now to start cashing on those collected points and be on top of ongoing sales and promotions. As a true sale and samples hunter I decided to share some of my tricks of the trade.
Pretty much every well-known shop has verged into the app market but frankly there are only a selected few that are really worth those precious MB of phone memory. ASOS app is pretty brilliant and you get 15% off on one single transaction when you download it, which makes it worth your while. Harvey Nickols Rewards app is quite good too since once you reached 200 points you get free coffee or smoothie per visit, free basic alterations, free gift wrapping and every 3 months depending on how much you’ve spend there are additional rewards such as cash back or free products or treatments. Naturally more you spend more benefits you get some of which also include stylist at home!
I really hate spam email with passion and used to think the newsletters are just the electronic version of junk mail. Some companies proved me wrong. L’occitane newsletters and regular mail offers are great and make sure that you never pay full price for products or at least receive a good few generous size freebies.
TheBodyshop website is where there is always some 30% off offers going on. No need to sign up for newsletters just know what you really want. Feelunique.com always gives additional 5% off on newsletter subscribers, every little counts especially when its 25% off. SpaceNK newsletter is more promotion the discount or freebie oriented but every month there will be some golden code for free face creams or bag of goodies worth way more than your minimum spend requited. Also you get selection of four free sample at checkout, I highly recommend going for any shampoo or conditioner, since they are perfect for travel.P.S I’ve accumulated all products displayed on the photo after two orders.
Free gift with magazine
I love magazine deals and almost never actually buy a magazine without getting something out of it. Don’t get me wrong I love magazines but with Stylist being free and Hello Monthly fashion costing 1 I think there is really no need to spend £4,50 or more. This month Glamour magazine costs 2 and comes with free Clinique product (nude or red lipstick, moisturizer or mascara).
Other deals are Harper’s Bazaar £4.10 comes with free Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair 7ml; InStyle £2.50 in Tesco comes with free REN pack worth £14 featuring eye gel, day cream and night cream, RED magazine £4.10 comes with free Tall Starbucks drink, Elle £4.10 comes with Benefit They’re Real Eyelash Primer.
Hope its been somehow helpful and would love to know if you have any good tips saving on beauty.
