Chipped nails are no pretty side and I do blame it on the quality of nail polish. Sally Hansen Miracle Gel and Top Coat make a step in the right direction. In the drugstore there are so many unsuccessful gel-like formulas. The color ranges are always great but the lasting power never meets expectations. Sally Hansen as a brand always manages to deliver quality nail products for a good price. With no hesitation and mixed expectation I selected two of the Miracle Gel collection.
Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in 250 Throwing shade is the perfect nude pink shade. A bit ashy and matte this shade is an everyday sample. If your nails are not in great condition (shape and size are different) and do not have time/money to go for a manicure this shade is your absolute savior. The consistency is a bit ticker than usual, but still much lighter than the real long lasting gel consistency. The flat brush really helps achieving seamless application without any trace of streaks. My nails looked like I went to the salon and I even received a few compliments about beautiful pink color. It terms of longevity this color lasted me for a good week of active living after which slowly started to chip. For me the consistency and ease of use really made this nail polish stand out. The fact that it lasted a whole week certainly is a plus.
I truly believe that the secret to long lasting manicure is a quality top coat. Sally Hansen Top Coat quickly earned a prime spot in my top three. This top coat is absolutely amazing and works well with any inexpensive nail polish. It locks the color into place making it harder to chip around the edges. It dries fairly quickly and it also comes with the same easy to apply flat brush. Sally Hansen Top Coat is probably the star of this new collection. If gel-like nail polishes are not for you I assume that long lasting manicure certainty is. Do check this product, you will not regret it and let me know about your experience and recommendations.
