Sample of the month: Model Co, Elemis, This Works

For the month of July pretty much all UK women magazines come with gift with purchase. Those gifts are totally worth it since they are a good size samples or even full size products. Here are my three really good buys.

Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel review

Marrie Clare and Elemis
You have a choice of two Elemis products – Papaya Enzyme Peel or Pro Radiance Illuminating Flash Balm both 15ml. A few times now I went for Elemis facial and almost every time they use Papaya Enzyme Peel. This gentle peel/exfoliator leaves the skin soft and hydrated. Even my (sometimes overly) sensitive skin does not react to it. It really gets rid of impurities and leaves skin looking clean and somehow refreshed. This is also a great introductory peel type of product since it is not as strong as similar product alternatives. Elemis Pro Radiance Illuminating Flash Balm is also a great summer buy. It has a creamy white consistency that sheers on the skin. It gives a settle radiance sheen to the skin.

Model Co Ultra Shine gloss Striptease review

Glamour and Model Co
There are four Model Co products to choose from – blue or black eyeliners, ultra shine lip gloss and deluxe samples of volume mascara. The range of product to choose from is quite extensive so it really depends on what you need/want at the minute. I went for Model Co Ultra Shine gloss in Striptease which is a nude peach color with a hint of sparkle. It smells like a bubblegum and also comes with a mirror that is glued on the side (quite useful must say). This is probably not the best lip gloss I ever used but for 1 I can’t really criticize much. It does feel a bit sticky on the lips tho..

This Works In Transit Skin Defence review
Harper’s Bazaar and This works
This Works In Transit Skin Defence 15ml is a cult product all in one product that everybody should try (preferably for free). It is a mask/moisturizer/primer that keeps your skin hydrated and improves the longevity of makeup. It has a lightweight consistency and indeed does improve appearance of makeup. If you haven’t tried it or are unsure of investing £30 this magazine deal is a great opportunity to do so.
