Sunday pamper routine and skincare dupes

Sundays are a great day unwind and take some time to pamper yourself. Recently I’ve been searching high and low for some budget friendly alternatives that perform equally as good. It wasn’t an easy task to accomplish but at last I discovered some great skincare dupes from the drugstore that will save you some hard earned cash and make any sunday pamper routine far more satisfying.

Superdrug Naturally Radiant Hot Cloth Cleanser is probably one of the star buys of this lot. It has a spa like smell, creamy consistency and comes in a with a decent quality muslin cloth. To apply I dampen my full face of makeup and lathered a generous amount of the light and creamy consistency. The cream quickly melts into the skin and turn into oil. It removed most of my makeup and but left my skin feeling a bit dry. Compared to other drugstore cleansers this one performed much better, consistency was nice and easy to apply and it did not strip my skin to a point where is drench dry. Online reviews pointed out that this particular cleanser is also a great dupe for Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser which is another plus in my book.

Superdrug Hydrating Facial Sheet Mask is probably the cheapest and one of the few sheet masks available in stores. After trying Starskin (full review here) the stakes were high. This guy is made of fabric which soaked in their nourishing formula. The sheet mask is moist at first and after about 10 minutes my skin fully absorb the moisture. The results were good and if you what to try something new go for it. I still prefer Starskin face masks a bit more, since the effect was far more lasting and not just a quick fix.

Vaseline Intensive Caser Cocoa Radiant Body Lotion is a great nourishing body lotion that has light cocoa scent. This light cream formula that absorbs quick and retains skin moisture. Great body moisturizer to keep any dry and flakey skin at bay all year round.

Freeman Bare Foot Peppermint and Plum Foot Scrub is one of the few budget friendly foot scrubs available in the drugstore. One thing that I like about it is the scent, which borders more on candy sweet plum instead of overly pepperminty. It has tick creamy consistency and does a good job exfoliating during the colder months of the year.

Essie Spa Exfoliating Hand Scrub is one of the best hand scrubs I’ve come across. It makes the skin on your hands baby soft after a single application. I normally indulge with this product once a week, which combined with regular hand cream application keeps my hands very well-conditioned. It is a great at home paper treatment ever girl needs in her bathroom.
