Olivia Palermo is undeniably a style icon. I love how effortlessly chic, daring but measured she is. I always seems to look up the exact shade of her hair or study her implacable signature make up look that looks so simple yet interesting at the same time. Her recent collaboration with Ciate was something exciting to look forward to since I figured that all her preferred shades of eye shadow, lipstick, blush and nail polish will be easily made available. For starters I limit myself to one purchase from each category starting with a pink nail polish.
Olivia Palermo x Ciate Sundays nail polish comes in impressive white box with gold details. The packaging is luxurious (and also refracted in the price) and kind of contributes to the whole experience of buying something special. I have to say that this mini nail collection is not as ridiculously priced as Victoria Beckham x Nails Inc but it is still quite up there for a single nail polish. From my experience with Ciate i can say that lighter colors tend to be more sheer while strong colors tend to come in more opaque type of formulas. This powder/baby pink nail polish shade is very girly, classic and discrete also perfect to incorporate as a base for French manicure. The formula is sheer after only one coat but very buildable. In about 3 coats it turns into a beautiful opaque light pink color, like the shown on the picture. The brush is flat, making color application easier.
Olivia Palermo x Ciate Sundays nail polish costs £17 and seems to be a limited addition, so if you like this classic shade of color grab it quick before its gone forever. Available at Superdrug.
