When the weather start getting warmer the last this I want I full coverage foundation caking up, slipping and dripping off my face. Tinted moisturizers and bronzing powders quickly replace any face product with medium to fill coverage. To help achieve that lightweight sun kissed glow I was lured into new category of skin enhancing products. in other words CC creams with settle hint of additional tinted color to enhance skin radiance. The new release by The Body Shop Instaglow made me curious to find out how much of a difference that extra bit of skin tint can make.
This type of products are now part of many luxury brands summer lines like Givenchy, Giorgio Armani, Guerlain but most recently they reach the drugstore too. The Body Shop Instaglow CC cream comes with a very affordable price tag (£14) worthy of the experiment. The color range is simple – pearly rose, glowy peach or light bronze, which makes the purchasing process far less complicated. For my fair complexion I was immediately drawn to the Peachy Glow which comes with sheer coverage and very settle hint of apricot color. On the skin it gives overall hint of peachy glow that is very very settle. In comparison to some of the more high-end alternatives (I tried similar products from Givenchy and Guerlian costing nearly double) this product really performs just as good. It adds settle radiance and also works great mixed up with foundation. If you are on the market for some budget friendly hints of summer glow this product can really satisfy your summer glow cravings.
Just a quick shoutout to the lovely ladies at the The Body Shop at 31 Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow. They were very friendly and full of insightful tips and tricks. If you ever have a chance I highly recommend checking their store location.
