Occasions such as Halloween, Christmas and New Years typically involve full face of makeup sometimes including tons of face paint, glitter or just 101 layers. The truth in that once that single magical night is over, all is left is a beautiful mess to clean off my face. In attempt to revive my complexion after big night celebrations I decided to prepare and put together bunch of trusty make up remover products to helped me tuck into bed in about 5 minutes after I get home.
When it comes to taking off make up the ultimate quick fix are makeup wipes! They are not doing to take off every single drop of make up but still count as the next best thing. My favorite are from Johnson & Johnson Make up Wipes for Sensitive Skins. They are moist enough and does not leave any residue on the skin.If you I feel slightly more guilty but equally lazy I would go for Avene Micellar Lotion Cleanser and Make-up Remover. Do not be fooled by the word cleanser you still need to properly cleanse your face after use.
Getting rid of face paint, stubborn black eyeliner and glitter The Body Shop Chamomile Cleansing Oil is your guy. Caution it will most certainly sting your eyes but it will get rid of every drop of makeup you have on. Make sure you close your eyes and then rub it in to remove stubborn or waterproof make up.
If you are really into your skin care and want to do it all properly I suggest you go for Ren Rosa Centifolia No.1 Purity Cleansing Balm. As the name suggested it’s a tick balm that turns onto oil once massaged into damp skin. This cleanser not only smells incredible (light rose scent) but in one swipe melts away any dirt and layers of makeup. You really do not need to go for second cleanse after using this product.
In case I really want to erase some of the sights pointing at how great my night out was I quickly lather a tick layer of Origins Drink Up 10 Minute Mask and go to bed. In the morning my skin feels hydrated and clam despite of the many layers of makeup I decide to wear the night before.
These are my make up tips and list of trusty products I use when after a night out. Do you have a favourite cleanser?
